PM1 Facilities Upgrade – Gas Diversion

Biopharmaceutical giant Amgen opened its new US$300m facility in Dun Laoghaire, following a five-year revamp job of the old Pfizer building. The development included the construction of an 11,500 m² production plant and a 5,800 m² cold chain.

This project consisted of re-routing 10 No. laboratory gas pipework systems supplying the main laboratories to facilitate the construction of the new building. We also installed new manifolds and analysed gases pre-modification and post-modification to test for oils and moistures.
